QUALITY ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT STANDARD OF KOYO FASTENER CO.,LTD. (EXCERPT)

  1. PORPOSE

    This document is used for ensuring the environmental quality by clarifying the environmental-related controlled substances and their management levels.

  2. APPLICABLE SCOPE
    • 1) This standard is applied to materials, sub-materials and products that are procured by KOYO FASTENER.
    • 2) This standard is applied to Koyo Fastener, affiliate companies, "completed parts" suppliers.
  3. DEFINITION OF TERMS
    • 1) Environment quality management system

      Environment quality management system refers to the integrated system which is consisted of the organization, information transfer, audit, product research, analysis and reporting, etc.

    • 2) Manufacturing company

      Manufacturing company refers to plants and affiliate companies that manufacuture the products.

    • 3) Environmentally hazardous substances

      Among the substances contained in materials, sub-materials and materials used during manufacturing line, "Environmentally hazardous substances" refer to those which,have significant environmental impact on both humans and/or the global environment, use bans or limit the amount based on the law regulations and customer's requirements.

  4. APPLICATION OF THE STANDARD

    For the effective operation of the quality management system to the company employees and manufacturing companies.

    • 1) Establishes the environmental management organization and clarifies the responsibility , authority and role of each department.
    • 2) Ensures the purpose / target of environmental quality policy.
    • 3) Conducts education and training of environmental quality systems.
    • 4) Transmits the regulation information and other information related to environment.
